Growing genuine Vermont Christmas trees and serving the local community for almost 30 years, Geannelis Tree Farm is known for their incredible service, repeat customers and fun family atmosphere. While you might need a car to transport your tree (depending on how big it is), this farm is just a 10 minute walk up West Road from The Four Chimneys Inn and worth a visit.

Pembroke Nursery
Located less than 10 minutes up the road from the Inn, you’ll find Pembroke Landscaping and Nursery. An operating landscaping services company throughout the year, owner and established horticulturist Ron Pembroke offers impressive Balsam Fir trees at his establishment during the holiday season. Here you get to choose and cut your own Christmas tree, ranging in all sizes up to 12 feet tall! Starting at only $45, you might consider this your early Christmas present.

Pleasant Valley Tree Farm
Just a 5-minute drive west of the Inn, you’ll find 80 beautiful acres filled with over 30,000 Christmas trees. Needless to say, you’ll have quite the selection at Pleasant Valley Tree Farm: however, they will sell out so don’t miss your opportunity to browse the wide variety of festive firs. Whether you want a perfectly pre-cut tree or choose and cut your own, the folks at Pleasant Valley have you covered! A family-run operation for over 100 years, they’ve been planting and growing trees since the early 1950s when the farm was converted from a chicken and dairy operation. Bring your camera. You’ll want to capture the panoramic views of the Green Mountains from this tree farm.
After you’ve found “the one,” don’t forget to check out their locally-made holiday treasures in their Holiday Gift Barn! You’ll find decorative pieces like wreaths, garlands, and ornaments that will surely bring some Vermont holiday cheer to your homes. You can even buy real Vermont Maple Syrup at the Barn!
Fun fact: The Four Chimneys Inn has made a tradition out of buying our tree at the Pleasant Valley Tree Farm since 2005.
