This very large romantic room is as much a favorite among couples on romantic getaways as it is among weary travelers resting for the night. The Boston Globe summed it up best: “Room 5 is tucked under the third floor eaves. But the huge and airy space is hardly a garret. It is about 20 feet square.” A couch and easy chair face each other in front of a gas-burning fireplace. There is a king bed and twin day bed which makes it perfect for our Bennington College families, a girlfriend getaway or a Bennington VT shopping trip. Three windows in the main room and another in the bathroom make this a particularly bright and airy room. The bathroom offers a pedestal sink and tub/shower combination. This room is on the third floor so you will need to climb two flights of stairs to get to this lovely, spacious room.
