No. Pets and animals are not permitted anywhere on the property, including vehicles. Exceptions are made for ADA-trained service animals.

Breakfast hours are subject to change, but typically run from 7:30 am to 9:00 am from Monday through Friday and 7:30 am to 9:45 am on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the restaurant has closed permanently for dinner service. Breakfast continues to be served each morning for overnight guests.

Room rates at The Four Chimneys Inn range from $199–$449 depending on the room and time of year. A hearty country breakfast served each morning in the dining room is included in the room rate.

- Weekends require a two-night minimum stay.
- Peak foliage season requires a two-night minimum for both weekdays and weekends.

Rates are based on single or double occupancy. Most rooms accommodate a maximum of two guests.

Cancellation Policies
Due to the inn’s small size, cancellations significantly impact us.
- Cancellations made 10 or more days prior to arrival (or 30 or more days prior for holiday weekends and fall foliage season, September 24 – November 1) incur no penalty.
- Within 10 days (or 30 days during holiday/foliage periods), the full stay (including tax) is non-refundable and will be charged to the card on file.
For group or family bookings of three or more rooms:
- Cancellations made 60 or more days prior to arrival incur no penalty.
- Within 60 days, the full stay (including tax) is non-refundable.
This policy applies whether reservations are held on one or multiple credit cards.
Yes. Reservations of more than five rooms from one party require a separate contract. Please call (802) 447-3500 for details.
We welcome groups and family reunions, but reserve the right to decline reservations associated with events that may require special contracts or deposits.

Each guest room in our historic mansion is unique, but all rooms have a private bath and a comfortable king or queen bed with premium bedding. Our in-room amenities also include plush robes, toiletries, individual temperature control, flat-screen tvs, and more.

The Four Chimneys Inn offers a peaceful setting on 11 acres with gardens, pond, outdoor patio, sunroom lounge, and parlor with a fireplace. We also have an evening bar/cocktail lounge that is open every night from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Although The Four Chimneys Inn is a historic structure that was built in 1916, we have undertaken many initiatives to ensure that we comply with the ADA.
