From its bustling days in the 50’s when such celebrities as Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Walt Disney and Norman Rockwell dined at the Four Chimneys, to it’s life as a quiet and quaint inn today, the Four Chimneys has built a strong reputation amongst enthusiasts of fine food. Experience the time honored-legacy of fine dining at one of the truly outstanding culinary destinations in New England.

Our fine dining restaurant is open to both inn guests and the non-inn guests alike.

Serving Dinner:
5:30 to 8:30 PM. Wednesday through Monday. Closed Tuesdays.
Please note that reservations are highly recommended as we will occassionally close on quiet nights in the off-season. 802-447-3500.
Please note that the restaurant will be closed on Sunday evening August 3rd and Monday evening August 4th, 2008 for a special event.

Let our culinary institute trained chef create the perfect holiday dinner and dessert for you. Thanksgiving 2007

Christmas 2007
The inn provides the perfect back drop for a quintessential New England Christmas holiday. Each year between Christmas Eve and New Year’s we take a trip back in time and dig into the Four Chimney’s recipe vault uncovering some of our favorite classic recipes from the 1950’s to today. This season, we hope you will travel back to a treasured decade and enjoy!

A festive and elegant Christmas Eve dinner is available to inn guests and the general public. Reservations are available from 4PM to 8:00 PM on Christmas Eve. This year, the restaurant will be closed for dinner on Christmas Day. Click here to view this year's menu.

New Years’ 2007

Easter Sunday at The Four Chimneys is a special treat that your family will remember for years to come. About our Executive Chef
With more than 30 years of culinary experience, our Executive Chef, Thomas Simonetti, began his formal training with Certified Executive Chef Russell Watson, (American Academy of Chefs) at the prestigious Chadwick’s Restaurant at the South Seas Plantation Resort in Captiva Island Florida. Over the years he worked at a number of fine dining establishments in Florida including serving as Executive Chef in the Kings Crown Restaurant at the South Seas Plantation Resort in Captiva Island. Under Executive Chef Simonetti’s leadership The Veranda was voted “Best Overall Restaurant” in the Greater Fort Myers, FL. Chef Simonetti also owned and operated Sunshine Gardens, a specialty growing facility for custom blends of baby greens and specialty produce. (Thus, our new herb garden just outside the kitchen door!)

Thom is a member of American Culinary Federation where he has received numerous gold and silver medals. Thom eventually moved back to Vermont to be close to family where he worked as Executive Chef at Stratton Mountain and held the position of Banquet Chef at the Equinox Hotel in Manchester. A stickler for freshness, Chef Simonetti runs a scratch kitchen from beginning to end. From his award-winning lobster chowder to his home crafted veal demi glace to mouth-watering fresh berry-rhubarb napoleons, Thom perfects the fine dining experience.
