From its bustling days in the 50’s when such celebrities as Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Walt Disney and Norman Rockwell dined at the Four Chimneys, to it’s life as a quiet and quaint inn today, the Four Chimneys has built a strong reputation amongst enthusiasts of fine food. Experience the time honored-legacy of fine dining at one of the truly outstanding culinary destinations in New England.

Our fine dining restaurant is open for dinner to both inn guests and the non-inn guests alike.

Seasonal Dinner Hours (August - October):
5:30 - 8:30 PM. Closed Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The restaurant is open seasonally for dinner from mid-August through October. The restaurant is available for private events and weddings year round and always serves breakfast to inn guests. We are also open for dinner on the holidays mentioned below.

The Four Chimneys can accommodate group business meetings and business dinners seven days a week. Call 802-447-3500.

Lunch:
The Four Chimneys is not open for lunch. Private luncheons can be arranged for groups of 25 or more. Call 802-447-3500.

Call The Four Chimneys home for the holidays. Wake up each day to maid service, piping hot coffee, a hot gourmet breakfast and a day with nothing but relaxation in store.

Thanksgiving 2011
Celebrate Thanksgiving in a home away from home. A traditional Thanksgiving dinner (as well as options for the non-turkey eaters) will be available to inn guests and to the general public. Thanksgiving reservations are available at 12:30, 2:30, 4:30 and 6PM. For children under twelve, turkey dinners are available for half-portion, half price. Christmas 2011
The inn provides the perfect back drop for a quintessential New England Christmas holiday. This year we will be closed on Christmas Eve, however we will be serving Christmas dinner to overnight inn guests. For those inn guests who would like Christmas dinner, we will be serving dinner in the main dining room at 1 pm. Please note that dinner reservations and entrée choices must be received prior to Tuesday, December 20th. Come celebrate the holidays at your private table with candle light, a cozy fire and a lovely dinner.
CHRISTMAS DAY MENU
Carrot Ginger Bisque This flavorful Vegan soup is finished with toasted coconut.
Spinach Salad With mushrooms, bacon (optional), onions and a sweet tomato vinagrette
Choice of entrée:
8 oz. certified Black Angus filet mignon with a sherry demi glace, Yorkshire pudding, cranberry chutney and vegetable.
Pan seared Chilean sea bass with a warm tomato-coconut-curry sauce with ginger-cilantro-scented cous-cous and vegetable.
Steamed stuffed acorn squash (Vegetarian) stuffed with sticky rice, apples, walnuts, melted Cabot Vermont cheddar cheese, and apple butter. Served with Yorkshire pudding, cranberry chutney and vegetable.
Choice of dessert:
Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée or Profiterole with vanilla ice cream, homemade hot fudge and crushed peppermint.
Price: $63 per person ($45 for vegetarian option) plus tip and tax.
Includes Coffee, tea and soda. Wine, beer, cocktails, espresso and cappuccino are available for additional charges.

New Years’ Eve 2011
For those looking to celebrate a quiet and elegant dinner before ringing in the 2012 New Year, the Four Chimneys will be taking reservations on New Years Eve for an early and late seating. Call for details and to reserve a table this New Year's Eve. Both overnight guests and non-inn guests are welcome to make a reservation.

Gift Certificates
Gift Certificatesare available in $25 increments (with a $50 minimum) and can be used in our restaurant or inn. Gift certificates can be used for overnight rooms in the inn year-round. Gift certificates can be used for dinner in our seasonal restaurant mid-august through October.
